John's Landing Homeowners Association NOTE: Gate Clickers Still Work – But Not Required Your existing gate clickers will continue to function as they have in the past. 🦋 ButterflyMX Entry System at the Community Gate We are pleased to announce the installation of the ButterflyMX Smart Entry System at our community entrance gate. This modern, secure, and user-friendly system is designed to enhance your experience by streamlining gate access for residents and guests alike. The ButterflyMX system replaced the old access method while continuing to support existing gate remotes (clickers), which will function as usual. In addition, residents and guests can access the community via the new gate intercom unit. Please note that purchasing a clicker in the future is NOT necessary. The ButterflyMX app allows residents to open the gate directly from their smartphones, providing a convenient and cost-effective alternative. To open the gate using the app: Open the ButterflyMX app on your smartphone. On the home screen find “Entry Gate” . Swipe the “Swipe to unlock” button to trigger the gate to open. This action can be performed as you approach the gate or while you're waiting at the entrance — no code or physical remote needed providing quick access without needing a physical remote. How to Swipe to Open with ButterflyMX If you prefer to use a remote, you may still purchase one if you choose.
